Angeles conquers miniature golf!

About a dozen USS Angeles members and guests swung into action for miniature golf, bumper boats and more March 7 at Mountasia Family Fun Center in Santa Clarita.
We also created some joyous noise by celebrating Karen Hoagland’s birthday at the center’s Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour. The servers sang and banged a drum, and Karen did a brief dance.
Afterward, we played well at miniature golf and even had some holes in one (or two).
And we took some spins around the track on go-carts. They’re not as fast as starships, but they’re a fun way to travel. We also bumped into each other on inflatable boats. Watch out for those who fire water on you from their boats. Shields up!
The March 7 mission is one example of the fun you can have in the USS Angeles, a “Star Trek” and sci-fi club that embraces holodeck adventures such as this one. Click on “Join us” at the top of this page for an application.
